1st Mountain Boarding Nation Competition

Jungle Cafe and Hazyview Adventure Backpackers hosted Dirty Dayz, South Africa’s first Mountain Boarding Nation Competition. The event was held on the weekend of September 27-28 at Jungle Café.
Mountain Boarding is a combination of snowboarding, mountain biking and skate boarding. Different races and events where held in the forests on Fernbrook Farm and at a specially created ramp site at Jungle Café.
The Big Air final was held on the Saturday night. The competition was celebrated afterwards with live music and bands .Court Gibson jammed an amazing solo set, Revenge on Murphy rocked and a theatrical performance was given by the Part-Time Pirates.
“Carmen minus the DJ” kept the party going all night long with the help of stunning fire dancers.
