SA’s first Mountain Boarding Nation Competition

On the weekend September 27-28, Jungle Cafe and Hazyview Adventure Backpackers hosted Dirty Dayz, South Africa’s 1st Mountain Boarding Nation Competition. Mountain Boarding is a combination of snowboarding, mountain biking and skate boarding. Different races and events where held on Fernbrook Farm, in the forest and at Jungle Cafe’. Saturday evening the Big Air final was held at Jungle Café and was followed by live music and bands right next to the big air ramp. Court Gibson jammed an amazing solo set, followed by a very theatrical performance by “the Part-Time Pirates” and “Revenge on Murphy” rocked the jungle. “Carmen minus the DJ”and fire dancers kept the party going through the night.
