Here’s where to vote for the Lowveld’s Duane Vermeulen as player of the year
He is one of five nominees.
MBOMBELA – One of the Lowveld’s greatest export products and Springbok rugby player, Duane Vermeulen, is one of five nominees who could be named this year’s International Rugby Board Player of the Year.
The other nominees are Julian Savea, Willie le Roux, Brodie Retallick and Johnny Sexton.
Duane’s early rugby days saw him barefoot on Laerskool Nelspruit’s sport fields. He went on to play for Hoërskool Nelspruit’s first team and now needs your vote as international player of the year.
