Case of armed robbery opened after two suspects attack victims

On Friday November 14 at bout 02:00 two unknown suspects broke into a 37-year-old woman’s house.

MZINTI – On Friday November 14 at bout 02:00 two unknown suspects broke into a 37-year-old woman’s house.

According to the victim she was asleep when she was awakened by her daughter who wanted to use the bathroom in her bedroom. When she woke up she saw two unknown African males.

One of the men pointed a fire-arm at her. The suspects demanded money from the victim which she did not have. They then searched the house and took the following items: a Samsung TV, laptop, Samsung tablet, Huawii cell phone and a Nokia cell phone and fled the scene.

“A case of house robbery has been opened at Tonga SAPS and it is currently under investigation. Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects can contact Tonga Police

“The police urge the community to give information on any crime and report criminal activities happening around Nkomazi,” said Lt Mzwandile Nyambi, SAPS spokesman.
