The new Music Shop brought Christmas cheer to the town by launching a first of its kind - a carols by candlelight band performance on Friday night.
LYDENBURG- The new Music Shop brought Christmas cheer to the town by launching a first of its kind – a carols by candlelight band performance on Friday night.
Attendance was free of charge although the public had to bring non-perishable food items that were donated to Christelike Maatskaplike Raad (CMR).
John Olivier, the store manager said that the show was only the first of many. “We are new in town and the Music Shop wanted to do something that will bring the community together,” he said.
“We appreciate the turnout of the residents considering that we are still new in town and even if the weather was not favourable people still attended,” he explained.
The attendees sang along with the band and had a great evening with their families and friends.
