Meet the Huizemark team

BURGERSFORT – Huizemark Properties Burgersfort is proud to introduce their new determined team. Louw, Sarah and Hekkie de Beer bring real family values to the business.

Louw de Beer is the branch manager:

“I was in the military for 14 years. After that I joined South African Breweries and also gained experienced as a human resource manager and safety officer in foreign countries like Angola,” said Louw. He loves the warmer climate and the scenery of Burgersfort. He is also a keen animal and nature lover and admits being hooked by the sea. “My inspiration or get-out-of-bed motivation is definitely my family. They give me that extra motivation that I need to get through every day,” he adds.

He also mentions a few tips when buying a property: “Look at the inside and outside space of the yard and the house and also look at your environment. Make sure the property is located in a clean, healthy and safe environment.”

“Clients are our main priority at Huizemark. To satisfy our clients’ needs also gives us a sense of self-satisfaction,” says Louw, when asked why people should choose Huizemark as their property agents.

Sarah de Beer, rental manager:

“I work with clients who are interested in renting properties and also with lessors who are interested in renting out properties. Previously, I worked in Angola for 10 years as a payroll administrator. When we returned to South Africa, Louis Fourie, the owner of Huizemark contacted us to manage the branch. We accepted his offer and now here we are, ready for action. I love the residents of Burgersfort, they are very friendly and helpful,” said Sarah.

Sarah’s motivational words for difficult times are inspired by Amor Vittone: “A person always wishes for something more in life, but the blessings are already in front of your door.” When she has time off, Sarah enjoys being a grandmother and spending time with her grandchildren.

“When renting a property make sure there is no obvious and visible cracks in the structure. Be practical when choosing the correct property. Do not rush the process, and take your time deciding on the best property that suits your budget and needs. Our team is always loyal and honest. We provide a friendly service and we make sure we assist the client by finding the right property that suits their needs,” added Sarah.

Martha Sekgobela, property professional:

“I sell property or land of any sort at Huizemark. I have been a resident of Burgersfort for 20 years now and attended Calvin College. After school I studied to become a paramedic, but soon realised that this was not the job for me. I worked in the sales department of companies such as Capitec, Nedbank and OK Furnishers for a few years before I took up the challenge at Huizemark. My motivational words in life are: go big or go home. I am very scared of heights and snakes. My hobbies include tennis and I seriously think I talk too much, but regard it as a good quality,” said Martha.

Martha says when buying a property, it is very important to look for something that offers good security. The location is also important, if you have children she recommends you find a place close to schools and shopping centres.

“The Huizemark team makes their clients feel at home. We do not keep any information from our clients, we are a very open and transparent team,” she added.

Hekkie de Beer, property professional:

Hekkie worked in the construction sector as a health and safety officer before he took up the job at Huizemark. He grew up in Sasolburg and loves the natural surroundings in Burgersfort.

“I played ice hockey in school and in my free time I love spending time with my children. Family time is very important to me. My motivational words in life came from my mother. She always said: The grace from above, gives you the wind from behind.”
