Slight risk of load shedding today

It has been 32 days since load shedding has been implemented.

MBOMBELA – Eskom earlier today announced that there will only be a slight risk of load-shedding for the rest of the day as the power system is currently stable.
It has been 32 days since load-shedding has been implemented.
According to Eskom the demand for electricity is quite high during summer months, especially during the day, due to the increased usage of air-conditioners, geysers and pool pumps.
Eskom urged their clients to reduce electricity usage at home as well as at work.
The electricity provider yesterday also announced its new national spokesman, Mr Khulu Phasiwe. Phasiwe joined Eskom’s Media Desk in 2008 after he worked as a financial journalist for both the Business Report and Business Day newspapers.
Since December last year Phasiwe has been serving as deputy spokesman at Eskom.
