The city prepares for a gory Halloween weekend

Whether it's a pointy hat or a skeleton face, your Halloween costume is bound to win a prize at any of these events.

If there is one thing Lowvelders love to do, it is dress up and party! Here is a guide to which Halloween events will haunt the city this weekend.

 

• Jock Pub and Grill, Friday 30 October

Violence and wolves are the name of the game. Come and check out Taxi Violence, Feed the Wolf and local songstress Lara Gear.

• Rangos, Friday 30 October

Join the local house DJ as he takes you on a journey of ghostly proportions.

• Legends, Friday and Saturday

Get your freak on with three of their hottest house DJs. Dress up because there are tons of prizes to give away and… wait for it… entrance is free.

The pre-party goes down on Friday, while the main event will take place on Saturday.

 

• The Pub Friday, 30 October

Join Dixie Hillbilly as they bring Black Gold to life.

• Stoep, Saturday 31 October

Rock and roll is about to give new meaning to ‘scary’ with a tribute show to Guns ‘n Roses, featuring Mbombela’s very own blues master, Jonathan Peyper.
