New flight route lies in your hands

The public gets to decide if a route between Mbombela and Cape Town will be included.

Good news for local travellers; FlySafair is evaluating low-cost flights and the public gets to decide. A new route between Mbombela and Cape Town is among the options. So get voting today and also stand a chance to walk away with a VIP gift voucher for your next visit.

According to the business development manager of Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA), Mr Eugene van Jaarsveldt, we are currently in the lead. “But, in order to gain further momentum, we need as much support from the Lowveld as possible to keep that lead against Durban. We stand a great chance but for the next 11 days it will be a marathon on social media and not a sprint,” he added.

“This would be a huge milestone in stimulating cross-provincial tourism for KMIA and Cape Town,” he concluded.
