Four suspects arrested following attempted murder in White River
They will remain in custody for further investigation.

Four men were arrested in connection with an attempted murder that occurred on Sunday at around 22:30. According to White River police spokesman, Sgt Cynthia Mbokodo, the incident took place on the corner of Tom Lawrence and William Lynn – a popular hitchhiking spot.
The victim was apparently dropping off a friend when he was approached by the four men. “They asked for his car keys but he refused. They searched his vehicle and when they couldn’t find any valuables, they opened fire,” said Mbokodo.
He managed to escape and drove his car to the nearest filling station and contacted the police. Upon arrival, the police were given the description of the suspects, and the flying squad was summoned.
