ROSEHAUGH : Fires are raging in the plantations on the R37 near Rosehaugh. André Scheepers, Lowveld and Escarpment Fire Protection Association (Lefpa) manager said the fires had broken out today in the area and have spread due to the hot weather conditions and strong winds.
“Currently Lefpa is using aerial resources on the fire, later this afternoon and into this evening we will bring land crews to contain the fire.”
