SABIE – One person died and two sustained minor to serious injuries when a vehicle and a truck collided on the R537 this afternoon.

According to spokesman of LifeFMed Ambulance Service, Renata Erasmus, the incident took place about an hour ago. 

“One patient died on the scene and two others, one of which was an occupant of the truck and one of the vehicle, had to be rushed to hospital,” said Erasmus. 

The exact cause of the accident is not yet known, and the deceased cannot yet be identified.
