Penreach welcomes a donation of an added shaded area

The uniquely designed structure will provide the kids and volunteers with weather protection, as well as provide a larger space for the increasing number of children attending from surrounding schools in future.

MBOMBELA – A generous donation of a weatherproof shelter was recently warmly welcomed by Penreach, as it allows the organisation to accommodate additional pupils at its literacy camps.

The weatherproof shelter from Knittex, a division of Multiknit, recently helped 140 kids to attend a popular Penreach Reading Camp in Daantjie.

It is a volunteer-run initiative to boost literacy development in home languages and English for young children.
