WATCH: R400 000 worth of bikes stolen in nine minutes

It took the suspects almost five minutes to break into the premises.

Once they got access, they ran straight to the back of the shop for the top-end models.

Six mountain bikes, Cannondale and Trek were stolen.

Owner of Bicycle Company Nelspruit, Mitchell Arntzen said that it does not look like local guys, as he got phone calls from cycling companies from Pretoria and Bloemfontein saying they had been robbed.

“It must have been syndicates. I assume they have been to our shop before to scout, as they knew exactly where to go to snatch the more expensive bikes.”

Police are investigating.
