SAPS on the lookout for killers of Ntunda resident

Police suspect the man had been killed by a mob and are following up all leads to find the culprits.

TONGA – A 35-year-old from Ntunda trust was found beaten to death after people reported seeing a man lying on the ground on Monday.

When police responded, they found that he was half-naked with bruises all over his body.

They notified the paramedics, who certified the victim dead on the scene.

A case of murder was opened at Tonga Police Station and police are still determining the motive for the killing. They suspect a mob was responsible and are collecting clues that might lead to the arrest of possible suspects.

Spokesman, Capt Magonseni Nkosi urged the community not to take the law into their own hands but to work with the police to ensure the culprits are caught.
