A day of super fun and superhero challenges

The children were provided with the opportunity to practise skills, socialise and build new friendships.

At Uplands Pre-Preparatory School’s second superhero adventure day, scores of three- to six-year-olds from the area gathered to enjoy a fun community day.

They took part in an obstacle course which included a variety of exciting activities with superhero titles. These included climbing (Spiderman Web), balance (Catwoman), mud and crawling (Wolverine), water (Aquaman), shooting and throwing (Wonder Woman), jumping over hurdles (Superman) and the course ended with a short sprint (Flash Dash).

The children were provided with the opportunity to practise skills, socialise and build new friendships, gain confidence in their physical and emotional abilities as well as learn to enjoy healthy competition with one another.

They showed great enthusiasm and eagerness while their parents, grandparents, siblings and friends watched and cheered them on.
