Barberton learner ready to jet off on overseas exchange

BARBERTON – Barberton High School’s Jason Nelson (17), who is in grade 11, will jet off to Hungary on December 2.

Jason is part of the Rotary Youth Exchange programme.

He will spend a month Budapest while staying with Botond Hergyo’s family. Botond is an exchange student who spent two months at Barberton High earlier this year.

Jasom said he is extremely happy to be part of the programme. “I feel a sense of pride and I’m humbled by the opportunity presented to me. I know that this will be a beginning of a new chapter in my life as I will have to start life afresh in Hungary,” he said.
