Duma and smart meters resumed
TCLM's spokesman, Themba Sibiya confirmed that the project, including the installation of the smart meters, has once again commenced.

LYDENBURG – Duma substation is up and running after it was stopped for review on May 30.
Thaba Chweu Local Municipality (TCLM) then took a resolution to halt the project and review the agreement in line with the National Treasury’s approved financial models and scope of work.
This review meant that those operations had been halted because of a situation in which progress is impossible, especially because those involved cannot agree. This included not only the building of the new substation but also that of the smart meter installation.
TCLM’s spokesman, Themba Sibiya confirmed that the project, including the installation of the smart meters, has once again commenced.
