Water restrictions implemented with immediate effect

LYDENBURG – Thaba Chweu Local Municipality (TCLM) issued an immediate notice with regard to water restrictions for the entire town.
This follows after poor rainfall in the area leading to a significant decrease in the Lydenburg Dam’s water level capacity. TCLM said that they are busy determining the exact water level capacity at this moment.
Themba Sibiya, communications manager at the municipality said; “The municipality hereby gives notice to members of the public about the implementation of water usage restrictions with immediate effect until further notice.
