Top taekwando master invited to dispense tips
Taekwondo Mpumalanga Province will host a sparring seminar conducted by renowned taekwondo practitioner and master, Warren Vice, from England.

The seminar takes place on October 5 and 6 from 10:00 until 13:00 at the Shonalanga Sports Hall at the Nelspruit Army Support Base.
An umpires’ course will be conducted on October 7 and 8. Vice hails from Manchester, England, and is a sixth-degree black belt master of Taekwondo International and the Taekwondo Association of Great Britain.
His accolades include being named the world taekwondo fighter of the year and being the undisputed taekwondo 22-time world champion. He has multiple European and British titles under his belt.
Taekwondo Mpumalanga Province president and founder, Job Magagula, said, “I met Warren Vice at the 2013 Taekwondo International World Championships in Coventry City and extended an invitation to South Africa, which he accepted.

“The aim of bringing this taekwondo legend to South Africa is to equip our taekwondo practitioners with advanced sparring techniques for point stop and continuous sparring.”
Magagula added that the seminar is the ideal way to prepare local taekwondo practitioners for next year’s Arnold Africa Classic and the 2021 world championships.
“We are expecting taekwondo practitioners from as far afield as Mozambique, Lesotho and Zambia to join us as Vice imparts his knowledge and skill.”
