Eskom on Thursday confirmed that stage 4 of load-shedding will resume at 08:00 and will continue until 22:00.

This power utility said that this is due to the continuing generation supply constraints caused by multiple unit breakdowns as well as the additional demand as a result of the cold weather.

It added that load-shedding will persist throughout the week.

* Block 10 will remain exempt for the duration of the lockdown.
