Sabie’s Petena Pancakes donates to Pro-Life in October
Part of the restaurant's proceeds for the month will be given to Pro-Life to assist the organisation with fundraising.
Petena Pancakes in Sabie will donate three per cent of its October proceeds to Pro-Life Pet Rescue, Rehabilitation and Adoption Agency.
The animal sanctuary encouraged its supporters to enjoy a meal at the Sabie restaurant during this month.

Leigh-Ann Auerswald of Pro-Life said they are grateful for this initiative. “During this time, where normal fundraising initiatives aren’t always possible, every little bit that comes in from the community’s side helps.”
Pieter Pretorius, owner of the restaurant, said as a family, they have always been animal lovers, which is why they decided to contribute in this way.
Next year, they will select a different charity organisation to donate to.
