Nelspruit SPCA committee members resign
On October 1, half of the managing committee members of the Nelspruit SPCA tendered their provisional resignations.
Ludi Botha, former chairperson of the committee said it consisted of six members, of which three remain.
He said both those who have resigned and those who stayed, have done so pending an investigation into the issue that caused the resignation.
Due to legal reasons, neither the Nelspruit SPCA nor the National Council of SPCAs could provide further detail as to the reason.
Upon being questioned about the incident, the National Council of SPCAs said, “Kindly be advised that we are currently investigating”.
