Local rising star to make Lowveld Christmas extra special

Lonita Swift is collecting donations for local old-age homes in Mbombela and White River.

From these, she, with Lowvelder, will make up gift parcels that will be handed out to residents at the homes.

On the wish lists for the parcels are, among others, toiletries and non-perishable snacks, such as Marie biscuits.

She will also make the handovers extra sweet by giving a performance at each home.

Donations can be dropped off at the Swift Group or the Lowveld Media offices before November 25.
