Freak accident on Schoemanskloof Road lands man in hospital

The driver of the vehicle had been taken to Mediclinic Nelspruit.

An employee of Trans African Concessions (TRAC) was rushed to hospital earlier today following what can only be called a freak accident.

The staff member, who cannot be named at this stage, was travelling westbound on the R539 Schoemanskloof Road when an unidentified drone allegedly crashed into his vehicle.

The TRAC spokesperson, Solange Soares, confirmed the incident and added that the driver had been taken to Mediclinic Nelspruit. It is still unclear who the drone belongs to, and the exact circumstances have not yet been established.
