KNP’s Malelane Gate temporarily closed due to planned protest
The park warned of a planned labour protest to take place in the area tomorrow.

In a media statement, the Kruger National Park (KNP) informed guests that “a labour protest organised by one of the local political parties against a farming establishment outside the park is planned to take place tomorrow, November 27, along the R570, which leads to the park.”

It foresees that the road to the Malelane Gate might be inaccessible. Guests are therefore advised to use alternative gates such as Phabeni and Paul Kruger to enter or exit the KNP as a precautionary measure until further notice.
