Saturday bargains abound at White River Hospice

Terran Gericke, the manager of this hospice branch, said she was surprised that some people still did not know where they were located after all these years, and reminded all enthusiastic hospice shoppers that their bargains could be found at 19 Wildevy Street.

Bargains upon bargains were available at the White River Hospice in Wildevy Street on Saturday morning.

Hospice had its fortnightly sale of clothing items, toys, CDs, DVDs, and many other household items; many of which sold for a mere R10 apiece.

Terran Gericke, the manager of this hospice branch, said it was an early morning rush at the sale. “I think it was because of the R10 sale. People wanted to be here first.”

They were happy with the turnout; some people had left the premises with boxes filled with their purchases.  Gericke said she was surprised that some people still did not know where they were located after all these years, and reminded all enthusiastic hospice shoppers that their bargains could be found at 19 Wildevy Street.  She said they were looking forward to a sale of raffle tickets and the White River Country Fete in the near future.
