Words in My Mouth poetry slam exposes great talent

Some local poets and singers made their mark during this year's Innibos.

The Words in My Mouth poetry slam performers gave their audience a show to remember on Friday afternoon at the piazza at i’langa Mall.

This show was part of the Gaan Bos inniMall line-up for the weekend. During the show, audience members, young and old, were clapping hands and praising the performers as they showcased their talent. They kept surprising with their various presentations, some reciting poems and some singing.

The show was opened by Menzi Mkhonza, the founder of Words in My Mouth. “We have a great range of performances to present and every performer has their own thing to share,” he said.

According to him, some of these participants are new to the industry and keep growing in this field with every show.
