Humans and dogs thrilled with fete

It was a family fun day for all who attended the White River SPCA's country fete at Da Loose Mongoose in White River on Saturday September 25.

With several stalls selling everything from second-hand clothing, dog beds, deliciously crafted cupcakes, plants and even candyfloss, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

The SPCA’s second-hand book stall also did well, drawing young and old to the stand. Book lovers surrounded the tent at all times, and as one customer left, two others would jump in.  The market also saw live music from well-known local band Voodoo Kudu and local DJ Tashana.

Some visitors really took advantage of the day and even brought their pets along to enjoy the open lawns at Da Loose Mongoose and the sunshine.
