Needy receive sanitary products thanks to summer body initiative

The Lowveld Mall collaborated with Gym 4U Fitness Club and hosted aerobics classes to all who attended the campaign, called the “Woza Summer Body”, with Coach Adam Mkwena through October.
The goal of the campaign was to get people to donate sanitary products when they volunteered to participate in the aerobics sessions.

“Instead of people paying to join the aerobics classes with Coach Adam, they only needed to bring sanitary products that would be dropped into a donation box and then they could exercise along with everyone else who had donated and joined,” said Tania Manjate, the marketing manager of the Lowveld Mall.
The sanitary products were distributed among the less fortunate of Hazyview who cannot acquire these items for themselves. “We asked the people to donate while we promote a healthy lifestyle solution that is fun to attend and to help fellow community members,” said Manjate.

“Many supported the idea of helping others who struggle to obtain basic sanitary products and supported the campaign for their own fun as well.”
The aerobics classes were available every Monday to Friday, 17:00 to 19:00, and on Saturdays from 08:00 to 10:00. The campaign was only set to be run in October.
