NPO does record number of sterilisations near Hazyview

The NPO, Khumba Ncila works in the villages surrounding Sabi Sands to address animal welfare issues.

As part of its role in addressing animal welfare issues, Khumba Ncila recently did 67 sterilisations in the community surrounding the Sabi Sands with Pro-Life.

Khumba Ncila’s Natasha Whyte, the founder of the NPO, said these sterilisation campaigns happen four times a year.

“In this particular drive, we sterilised 67 animals, our greatest number yet, and it was even more special as it was our 10th campaign that we have done with Pro-Life.”

“We address animal welfare issues in the community through educating people on proper animal care and enabling a better quality of life for these animals.

“We provide vet care throughout these villages with vaccination, illness, disease, injuries and sterilisation campaigns throughout the year.”
