A talent extravaganza for Lydenburg

Children or adults who have dreamed of being on stage with an adoring crowd at their feet, now have the opportunity for that dream to come true.
The ultimate talent will be showcased during Lydenburg’s Got Talent from Tuesday August 16 till Saturday August 20.

The Eistedfodd will be taking place throughout the week and the grand finale will be on the Saturday evening. This event is organised by the Hoërskool Lydenburg and Rosemarie Middleton.

The closing date for the submission of the entry form and fees is Friday July 15. No entries will be accepted after the closing date.

The prospectus needs to be read and understood before completing the entry form.
The categories are the following: dance (all styles), vocals and choirs, instrumental, speech and drama, modelling, acrobatic or rhythmic gymnastics and creative arts (all mediums, the original artwork has to be handed in at LHS by August 15). Any other art form not listed needs to be specified on the entry form.

For instance, music for dance items or backtracks for vocals must be clearly marked and handed in at LHS on or before Friday July 15. This event is open to all age groups.

Certificates and reports will be awarded throughout the week.
At the gala event on Saturday August 20 the crème de la crème of the performers will receive trophies and medals. All forms can also be found on the Lydenburg’s Got Talent Facebook Page, including the prospectus.
