Bothashoek pupils enjoy a trip to animal rehabilitation centre

Bengura told Steelburger/Lydenburg News that despite the lack of financial sponsorship, the school’s enrolment is significantly growing.

BURGERSFORT – A local school, Angels Child Care, recently went out on a field trip to Moholoholo Animal
Rehabilitation Centre in Hoedspruit.

The excursion served as a powerful motivation for pupils; stirring up excitement from kids and parents
alike.

“Breaking away from the routine classroom lessons provides the learners with a refresher, which makes them more focused back in the classroom. Learning and fun make a beneficial psychological combination,” said educator Nelson Bengura.

He indicated that the school embarks on yearly trips that aim to develop and enrich the learners’ cognitive capacity through the exploration of the real-world mountains, valleys, rivers, forests, animals, birds and diverse human culture.

Angels Child Care is a private independent, young, and dynamic crèche in Bothashoek that was established in 2021.

The school offers care and education to kids aged three months to fives years (Grade R). The school intends to expand to a fully fledged primary school in the coming years.

Angels Child Care offers quality and affordable education in marginalised communities around Burgersfort. The school has maximum security, upholds standard hygiene, and has experienced teachers with motherly care.

Bengura told Steelburger/Lydenburg News that despite the lack of financial sponsorship, the school’s enrolment is significantly growing.

The school is managed by Patricia Bengura with the assistance of Nelson who is a senior teacher.
