The message (once again, unconfirmed) circulating stated the following:

“Town is nothing. The locations surrounding Mbombela will be totally shut down by 12:00 – nothing in or out. All your friends and neighbors who don’t want to listen, will not enter or exit any location from 12:00. Everybody was warned yesterday and only a few listened… Cars and buses will be stoned. Taxis only bringing people from town will be permitted before 12:00. Total shutdown… Together, we can be heard!”
