Mbombela’s Steiltes Family Night Market a hit despite cold weather

The market was well-supported by locals on the evening of Friday July 1.

With unique stallholders from across the Lowveld, the Steiltes Family Night Market was bustling with visitors who came to support the many local exhibitors on Friday July 1.

Held at the corner of Suiderkruis and Aurora streets at the Nelspruit Masons and Lions Community Centre, the market drew exhibitors from Mbombela, Kaapsehoop, Komatipoort, White River and beyond.

The organiser Monica Arnott said, considering the cold weather on Friday, the turnout to the market was much larger than expected.

“It was a fabulous evening and we even had a visitor from Cape Town who said he had enjoyed the market,” said Arnott. “The Lowveld has the most talented exhibitors. I am always blown away at how hard they work.”
