Driver seriously injured on R532

The truck was transporting sheet metal and reinforced rods. It overturned in heavy mist on the R532 at approximately 07:30 on Wednesday July 20.
The driver was stabilised on the scene and taken to Sabie Provincial Hospital.
He sustained a broken leg.

Hazmat operators sealed the road with sawdust to stop diesel spillage.
The accident happened about 8km before Sabie, just after the truck turned right onto the R532 from Lydenburg/ Sabie intersection.
