Mbombela lass clinches modelling contracts
Lowvelder Michelle Olckers recently travelled to Tampa, Florida where two modelling agencies approached her for contracts.
The success of the participants of Lowvelder’s Got Talent continues as local Michelle Olckers recently returned from the USA with two modelling contracts.
Olckers, a finalist and ambassador from Lowvelder’s Got Talent 2021, had attended the International Talent Showcase (ITS) in Tampa, Florida, in July, where she did exceptionally well.
She was awarded contracts with Corestone Model and Talent Management in Canada and Uno Model Management in Miami.

“Michelle has definitely placed her first foot on the international runway arena. In March next year, she leaves for Miami for a work week in the USA under the guidance of Corestone Model Management, and the opportunities that could arise for her could possibly be endless,” said Master Models owner Candice Paterson.

“We give thanks and gratitude towards the Lowvelder’s Got Talent event, where Michelle was scouted to attend the ITS, thus getting her this far in this international market of modelling,” said Paterson.

“She has definitely worked hard and is very determined to make her mark. As her modelling school, family and friends, we are all very proud of her hard work.”
Meanwhile, the scouting process for Lowvelder’s Got Talent 2022 started at i’langa Mall on Saturday September 10. The next set of auditions will be held this Saturday, September 17, at i’langa Mall from 10:00 to 15:00. Make sure you do not miss your opportunity to audition.
