R536 near Hazyview reopened after accident

The road was partially closed for just over two hours on September 19, following an accident that involved two vehicles.

Traffic is flowing once again on the R536 after an accident that occurred on September 19, when a Toyota Fortuner collided head-on with a truck.

There were no fatalities during the accident, but the occupants of the Fortuner sustained injuries and were rushed to the nearest hospital, while the truck driver sustained minor injuries and was treated on the scene.

The patients’ conditions are currently unknown. The police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
