John Rock Prophet rocks Mustangs
Lowvelders celebrated Heritage Day with John Rock Prophet's show and a braai at Mustangs - The Dancing Place on September 24.
Mustangs – The Dancing Place celebrated Heritage Day with a braai and a rocking performance by John Rock Prophet on Saturday night.
The festivities started early in the day, with the doors opening at 11:00. The event was family-friendly, with a jumping castle and a water slide for the children.
Braai packs were available for the guests who wanted to braai there. Those who did not want the hassle of making their own food, could order from The Food Shack.

At 17:00, Mustangs put up its big screen so patrons could watch the Springboks play against and beat the Argentinian rugby team, much to the delight of all the guests.
After the rugby had ended, the crowd was entertained by performances by local musicians Chris Botha and Anne Marie, however, the main event for the evening was John Rock Prophet.
The musician was welcomed onto the stage with a resounding round of applause and gave a stellar performance enjoyed by all. After the live entertainment, patrons continued their celebrations late into the evening, dancing and having fun with their family and friends.
