Man killed on Sterkspruit farm

The Lowveld community learnt this morning, September 30, that a man had been killed on his farm in Sterkspruit.

A man was killed on his Sterkspruit farm last night, September 29.

According to Albert Gryvenstein of Bossies Community Justice, the man was in his orchard when he was attacked. His assailants then tied him up and killed him.

The name of the victim is known to Lowvelder, however, the paper is awaiting confirmation from the police as to whether his next of kin has been informed of his death.

Devon McCullough, safety chairperson of AfriForum Nelspruit, confirmed they were also on the scene and in the process of assisting the family with trauma counselling following the incident.
