This remarkable video, captured on the border of the KNP, shows crocodiles, hyenas and leopards vying for a piece of meat. A hippo also makes an unexpected appearance.
An extraordinary video featuring a buffalo calf, crocodiles, hyenas, leopards and hippos was captured on the border of the Kruger National Park near Malalane.
Lex Hollmann, the man responsible for the video, said on his YouTube page that a buffalo calf was attacked by a crocodile first. The calf managed to escape, only to be caught again by three hyenas.

These were joined by two leopards, he explained. The crocodiles left the safety of the river to reclaim their prize, however.
Once this was all over, a hippo picked at the remains of the calf. “That was the unreal scene in this video,” Hollmann said.
