Calling all performers – Sacopa auditions are in Mbombela in July
If you are a singer, dancer, model, player of an instrument, or if you are an actor, make your way to Hoërskool Bergvlam on July 22 for Sacopa auditions.
The South African Championships of Performing Arts (Sacopa) are back in Mbombela this July.
Sacopa is once again scouting for the best talent Mpumalanga has to offer.
Last year the talented Naveena Sabu was discovered and she danced her way to the World Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles to win the Senior Dancer of the World title. Amateurs and professionals of all ages who love to perform are invited to enter.
If you are a passionate performing artist and love to sing, dance, model, play an instrument or if you are a drama king or queen, this competition is for you.

This is the 26th year Sacopa is giving performing artists a platform to learn, grow and excel in the world of showbusiness.
Auditions for team Mpumalanga will be hosted at Hoërskool Bergvlam on July 22. The finals will be held in Rustenburg from September 29 to October 6.
According to the provincial director of Sacopa, Jana Claassens, the competition not only promotes young talent, but also builds self-confidence.
“The championships are truly a unique experience for any performer with world-class judges and the opportunity to perform at the World Championships of Performing Arts,” she said.
