Bakkies collide on Ferreira Street intersection

A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Ferreira and Penny streets yesterday morning, May 10, left five people with minor injuries.

Two white Ford Rangers collided at the intersection at about 07:30.

Emer-G-Med’s Martin Jeffrey said there were four occupants in the one bakkie and one in the other. He said all of them sustained minor injuries, including lacerations, abrasions and soft tissue injuries.

Emer-G-Med and ER24 transported them to Mediclinic Nelspruit and Kiaat Private Hospital for further treatment.
The cause of the accident is as yet unknown. The relevant authorities are still conducting investigations.
