Entertainment galore during family market day in Burgersfort

Families and friends challenged one another to a wheelbarrow race, sack race, potato in a spoon, water balloon games and pillow fights.

It was a fun day, full of activities as the NG Kerk  in Burgersfort hosted the annual Boeresport Family Market Day on Saturday.

 

More than 200 locals attended the function that started at 09:00 and ended at 15:00.

Guests were entertained with music as young DJ Nico du Plessis wowed the guests from the start. There were activities for young and old, and it was the ideal opportunity for families to play and laugh together.

There were various kinds of meals that included hot dogs, sausages, pancakes, fried chicken and many more.

 

Fruits and vegetables were sold during the event.

Business boomed and fresh vegetables, fruit, knitted clothing and toys were available with Phillip Smit makes potjiekos. the guests buying in bulk.
