Bernard receives wheelchair from Tubatse Good Samaritans
Bernard is known all over Tubatse, as he was a frequent visitor at the Tubatse Crossing Regional Mall.
The Nkadimeng family in Praktiseer heaved a sigh of relief when they were handed a wheelchair by some Good Samaritans.
The philanthropist, Thomo Nkgadima, and generous community members recently handed the gift to the delighted family.
The wheelchair was handed to a disabled family member, Bernard Nkadimeng (38).
Bernard is known all over Tubatse, as he was a frequent visitor at the Tubatse Crossing Regional Mall. He
was always seen interacting with shoppers, but due to his mobility, challenges he is scarce nowadays.

His mother, Anna, thanked the donors for their good hearts .
“I am delighted to receive this gift on behalf of my son. It will restore his mobility and we will easily transport him to the nearby Dilokong Hospital for his medication.’’
Nkgadima said they are driven by the spirit of compassion to help restore the dignity and mobility of people
living with disabilities.
He said the donation came after they saw a need for the family to be handed a new wheelchair.
“I put myself in the shoes of the less fortunate and decided to stop the blame game by stepping in and doing
something to bring some relief to our down- trodden masses,” he said.
The family has also appealed for a battery powered wheelchair for Bernard, who is suffering from Down syndrome. The Nkadimeng can be contacted on 076 246 7434 or 071 148 9697.
