Fun aplenty during Christmas in July market at Curro

There was something for all to enjoy. Whether you're a foodie, shopaholic or arts and crafts freak.

Curro Nelspruit hosted a magical two-day Christmas in July Market that included fun for the whole family on July 28 and 29.

Held at the schoolgrounds, the market saw a variety of foods on sale, including pancakes, samoosas, biltong, a coffee truck and more.

Separate from the food court was a small children’s play area complete with a bouncy castle and an array of stalls selling locally crafted artisanal items from clothes, soaps, jewellery and children’s toys to handmade candles, handbags and some Christmas-themed items.

Curro Nelspruit’s Amanda Steven-Jennings said the market was a first for the school and a change from the well-known Curro Carnival.

“The constant flow of visitors made parking and shopping easy and convenient. This market will grow year on year into a bigger and more popular event,” she said.
