Sushi and music a great combo for fun in Mbombela

The event's goal was to bring together music fans of golden oldies and sushi lovers for a night of fun and camaraderie.

Those with a specific palate and the do-you-remember crowd had a fun night with their peers during a special event held at the Nelspruit Masonic Centre on October 6.

According to the organiser, Charlotte Hoff, the idea was to provide an opportunity for music lovers of golden oldies and sushi lovers to meet like-minded people and have some fun.

“The attendance was beyond our expectations, and the fact that people enjoyed the event so much was a bonus and has motivated me to do more. The competition was full of fun, with the music fundis travelling down memory lane while enjoying different kinds of sushi and beverages,” she said.
