Moths continue to honour fallen soldiers in White River
The annual Remembrance Sunday Parade was yet again a success as members of the MOTHs gathered to honour heroes.
The Memorable Order of Tin Hats (MOTH) Mpumalanga Shellhole in White River held their annual Remembrance Sunday Parade on November 12 in memory of and to honour those who fought bravely and died for their country during WWI and subsequent wars.
Remembrance Day, also known as Poppy Day, is held annually on the second Sunday of November, closest to Armistice Day, which marks the ceasefire that put an end to all hostilities of WWI on November 11, 1918.
