Biker injured in Mbombela collision

A collision between a vehicle and a motorbike in Ferreira Street this evening, February 11, caused the biker sever injuries.

A motorcyclist has been rushed to Rob Ferreira Hospital with severe but not life-threatening injuries after a vehicle collided with his motorbike in Ferreira Street this evening, February 11.

When Lowvelder arrived at the scene just after 20:00, the man was being secured in a stretcher to be moved to an ER24 ambulance before being rushed to Rob Ferreira Hospital.

The injured man was conscious. The emergency personnel on the scene said he had sustained abrasions to his face and a fracture to his upper right leg.

Hi-Tech Security, White River Towing Services and the Nelspruit police are also on the scene. The cause of the collision is as yet unknown and will be investigated by the authorities.
