Man’s body recovered from lake outside Mbombela
A man's body was found by residents just off the Hermansburg Road. They alerted emergency rescue services
The body of a man has been recovered from a lake just off the Hermansburg Road outside Mbombela today, February 25.
According to Martin Jeffrey of Emer-G-Med, who attended the scene, the man was allegedly swimming in the lake when he drowned.
“We responded to the scene just after 10:00 and local residents pointed us to the body. SAPS divers and a forensic pathologist were alerted as well,” he said.
It is unclear when the man drowned.
